4 years ago I have trailed an existing implementation by means of another bot available here: https://top.gg/bot/655390915325591629
It implements all the functionality required, including
- Minimum reacts to pin
- No pinned posts for bots (Optional)
- If react count lowers to a specific threshold the pinned item is purged (Optional)
- If the original post is deleted, the associated pin can also be automatically purged (Optional)
- Control users pinning their own posts
Interestingly, I cannot find the source code for this specific bot. However, there are many other bots like it.
