There are 5 comments but it shows 0.

Testing paid themes can be difficult for us, but if you have a link to your site we might be able to get a clue from there. If you can also figure out the fix and post here (or even make a pull request!) that's even better.

We haven't been able to prioritize this yet, but I noticed the comment counts are gone from the site. I assume those were removed for the time being?

No they are not. It is just visible on the big frame, the one on the left.

Seeing the same issue on Newspaper Theme, with an additional wrinkle -- when I attempt to install the previous version of Disqus, comments disappear.

tagDiv Newspaper Theme with WP Super Cache.

For now only known solution: remove comment count from posts ;)

Hi everybody, sorry for the difficulties and the lack of communication. Unfortunately ryanvalentin has moved on to other things, and we're juggling priorities to get this fixed. We're working on a stopgap, but it likely won't be available until early June.
