sync error #13

We have installed the new wordpress 3.02 beta plugin, but are not able to enable syncing. We have entered the Public, Secret and access token from our application. The error we get is "there was an error attempting to enable syncing".

I submitted to normal Disqus support, who gave me generic troubleshooting techniques for the old plugin.

This wasn't documented well, and Disqus support had no idea what I was talking about, so someone needs to educate them. I needed to change the permissions of the API Access Token to Read, Write and Manage Forums
