Automatic periodic import from WP to Disquss not happening #15

I have a WP plugin that imports every hour or so comments from Twitter and Facebook as WP comments.

Disqus is supposed to import WP comments into Disqus from time to time, isn't it?

This is not working, even though auto syncing is activated. I've checked https://import.disqus.com/teknofilo/?a=1 and last time it worked was on October 18th (I forced it manually on November 6th). I have installed 3.0.2-beta to see if it works, but it doesn't.

Syncing doesn't handle the WordPress -> Disqus part. There is now an import tool to do it manually, but as designed now, it's not expected to continually import WordPress comments.

It would be interesting to see how to approach this problem in another way.
