I used (1..4) to identify the 4 points that we made and made the links in the text. I also revised the point on the additional constraints in terms on optimization landscape.

It would be cool to have, instead of (1..4), an SVG icon that is more easy to recognize in the text. Something like what I did here (have a look at figure 7 and section 7.2). WDYT?

I really like the idea behind these changes. I have two small concerns:

When we say something like "creation of (4) artistic 3D objects", I think most readers won't realize this is referring to the four points we listed in the inroduction, so it seems kind of out of place. It also sometimes feels a bit weird in the flow.
In some cases, the text reads a bit weird to me as a native English speaker.

I propose we merge the PR, and then I'll do a pass of massaging the text.
