Better intro for aligned interpolation section #64

Two reviewers expressed that they didn't have context to follow the aligned interpolation section. I've rewritten the section opening to assume less prior knowledge

Hm, those two first paragraphs really help imho. Do we want a small, static diagram to go along with it? Here's a mockup of showing the neuron activations as bar charts alongside the resulting visualizations:

I'll merge without it, but wanted to leave the mockup in the right context.

If you feel inspired to actually make it, please add it. I don't think it's necessary but it's definitely a nice addition.
