Make figure sizes uniform? #189

It looks like most of the figures are aligned with the text margins; should we try to make this the size of all figures in the article? It may let some readers read the whole article zoomed in, instead of having to constantly switch the zoom to see things properly. It also may be nice style-wise.

Maybe the figure sizes are fine though - would be interested to hear other people's (and readers') feedback. (This is also probably lower priority.)

I think we will have a very hard time squeezing the few figures that expand outside the margins without radically altering their layout.
