Chat for group members? #3

Although I believe github is the perfect forum for having discussions while keeping logs and content references, maybe we need a separate (say WhasApp/Telegram) channel for faster and more frictionless communication?

WhatsApp and Telegram aren't very distributed, are they? How about XMPP or Matrix?

@Mikaela you probably wanted to say they aren't very decentralized =) Yea, we chose it for popularity and easiness for ppl to use.

XMPP is an old school xml-based protocol (hello jabber) which assumes having a central server or list of servers. Matrix looks interesting tho, thanks for mentioning, may be we should try it =)
