For this presentation we're looking for someone to talk about decentralized market places. Some possible questions that could be addressed:

What advantages do they have over centralized market places? How do you deal with issues around content censorship?

What advantages do they have over centralized market places? Why centralised is still important ---

  1. Easy verification

  2. Conflict management

  3. Liquidity But how does decentralised market differs

  4. Immutable ledger to protect counter-party

  5. Token to Token dealing to create liqudity

  6. Use of automated smart contracts

  7. Best of all less fees, in case of above customer end up paying more then 5 to 10%.

How do you deal with issues around content censorship?

Dealing with content-censorship , one way could be via voting, but as we have seen in the past voting can be manipulated . There are various other approaches such as virtual voting or use of past/ history.

  1. The above is just a simple 5 minute mind map. Will research on it and put some content soon.

Hi @maektwain,

The outline looks great. Something that could also be cool to address would be existing and/or emerging decentralized markets like Open Bazaar.

Also, I wanted to clarify/refine the premise on the bounty here as we're just getting started on this idea and it's still quite primitive. Would you be open to doing this talk as a video or did you want to come to Boulder, Co for the conference?

We'll have some new bounties up soon with more clearly defined process. Thanks for working on this and being patient with us as we build out the process!
