Name: The challenge district0x

Purpose:

Connect the people who have one challenge , with the people who want take the challenge.

Scoope:

It project could have impact in a lot different areas, just in United States an average american spend more than 50 usd per year in internet just for watch people doing something stupid or support organizations without any purpose , imagine how much people in the world would like challenge somene in the world for make whatever They want, Also it could help the advertising Industry for create new campaigns with a real people , motivating the people to participate because if they win They will recive a pay for it . Just imagine how much people could support one challenge as "Found the cure of Cancer" that would be awesome a lot of people putting money for motivate doctors around the world it would create a lot of people going to another level.

Description:

Every person in the world have a price, and every price in the world can be paid for someone. Imagine a platform when you can upload your challenge about whatever topic you want , and someone in the world can make it possible for some DNT. It is basically the heart of Challenge District0x in this platform you could play 3 diferent roles Challenger, Challenge Sponsor and DNTFish.

It could help the people to earn money in change or their knowlege, time , abilities or just their Research in one topic, it also could help the people to go to another level because what is the main problem what you have when you want entrepreuner something ? Yes, the money and the fear of create something which nobody wants use, for that platform can ensure you gonna have a market for your project or at least one group of buyers.(Example 2)

Challenger

Basically is the person who creates the Challenge, He put some DNT's in the pool and wait for the fishes make their work.

Challenge Sponsor

Is the person who wants support one idea and donate DNT's to make the pool bigger and more attractive for the DNTFishers. image

The people who going to take the challenge . for win some DNT's. image

How it works? Let me explain How It works in the next diagram: image

1.- First the Challenger create the challenge, and create the size of the pool .

2.-The District0x Team evaluate and post the challenge in maximum 48 hours ,the DNT going to be locked for Distric0x for this process the team recive a percentage of the pool. (It will be defined later)

3.The Challenger Fan support the challenge adding more DNT's to the pool making it more atractive for the fishes which are looking to acomplish the challenge.

4.-The challenge could be established in different ways for decide who is the winner of the pool. (Best Result, FIFO, Follow the rules, All win, Some Win etc)

5.-The DNTfishes going to submit their solutions and the best going to be evaluated by The challenger and the distric0x, then the winner going to be informed in a maximum time of 48 hours.

6.-The District0x team will try to make more atractive the pools and sort the challenges per category.

Examples:

Example 1

Jonh have 50 Dnt and he doesnt want make his Math Project because he is dating with Kerry and He going to hang out with she ,Thus he post their challenge in District0x and create a pull of 50 DNT and put the deadline for tommorow before his class , in another part of the world Mustafa see the challenge and as Math professor decide submit their solution and wait for see who is the winner, the next day 2 hours before his Class Jonh check the platform and decide Mustafa is the winner.

Mustafa is happy now with his 50 DNT and Jonh get A+ in his class and now he is falling in love with Kerry. All here are winners.

Example 2

Chocobars is a little companylocalized in Spain this company is dedicated to sell more than 100 different types of choolate, They want expand their bussines to USA througth their e-commerce web page, for that They need create some new advertises so They create a new challenge in The Challenge Distict0x , It have as goal create a video with a minium length of 2 minutes explaining "Why Should i buy chocolate in Chocobars.com?" in less than one week the team recive more than 100 different videos , After chose the best , the DNTfish recive the price for their solution.

You have my vote, I would love something like this to engage musicians or artists to push them further.

To make this a stronger proposal, I would suggest some better examples to get people excited about the idea. Examples I would value:

  1. Connect this district to oracles that pull API data. Challenge a live streamer to stream for x amount of hours, if they hit the goal, the API sends that information to the Oracle and notifies the governance participants and funds are released for that challenge.

  2. Challenge a musician to perform live in a specific City, if the musician accepts the challenge the funds can be released to the musician's escrow account. Upon completing the show, the escrow participants can release funds to the artist for the performance.

I feel like the value trade off for content creators could turn each challenge into a template that can be used multiple times for different content creators or performers.

What do you think? How do you see this working better? A micro task scale or larger more valuable tasks that could provide large escrow opportunities to individuals an governance participants? I feel that the overlap with other districts could create a powerful feedback loop.

@Bradymck Thanks for tour feedback i will try to create some examples for motivate the people, Could you help me with it? , I believe we can sort out the challenges in different categories, size of the prize , way to gain the prize , i believe the worth of this propose is create challenges for all and for allthe type of people, because all the people have different abbilities and could be disposed to invest more time, knowledge and likely money for Research and Development in science categories, the main purpose is create a net for connect people for create, do , design someting, just for DNTs imagine how much challenges coun be created just for entertainment or for develop something new, i believe in this project your help would be incredible for make reality this project.

@MRodas75 One thing I would suggest is to possibly look into the auxiliary modules. Some features we are looking to have will be the following:

Keep in mind the first two are the only ones we will be committing to, the others are just ideas we are discussing.

Hey there! We just launched the District Registry. 😎

If you are still working on this project, be sure to submit it to the registry if you want to see it built as one of the next districts.

We will be deprecating the old voting app and Github proposal system now that the registry is live.

If you aren't working on this be sure to stake your DNT into the districts you want to see remain in the Registry. https://registry.district0x.io/

Your staked tokens act as an 'Upvote' within the registry. Similar to any TCR, you will also receive a portion of the challenge rewards if anyone ever challenges the district. So be sure to migrate any tokens you used in the old voting app.

I will be streaming today now that the registry looks stable and people are beginning to stake DNT. We will dive in, answer all your questions and help get you started. Hope to see you later today!

Hey @MRodas75 ,

I'm not sure if you're aware but we recently launched a new bounty to migrate your proposals to the actual District Registry: https://registry.district0x.io/

We're replacing the old voting app with the registry. Let me know if you need help but I would love to see you migrate this over so you can claim your DNT.

It does take a 10,000 DNT submit to submit your proposal but this gives you an extra 2000 you can stake in the registry beyond the deposit amount.

Oh also, I was working on something similar to this proposal. Hit me up some time. Would love to throw some ideas around on this. Bounty based challenges could be huge even if it was done as a MVP within Ethlance 2.0 bounties
