I would encourage you to check it out, you may be able to get involved in making the district grow. They already have the ball rolling.

Purpose:
There are several tasks, where running a contest might be more suitable than a traditional work & hire model E.g Logo or a Tagline, also most people find themselves in situation where they are not sure about the choices & ask for feedback by posting in social media communities like Facebook. Further, contests run by most work & hire platforms do not reward all participants that have genuinely put in the work or are highly skewed in favour of the winner.
This can be for 1) Logos & app icons 2) Taglines 3) Memes, cartoon, caricatures, cards & many others 4) Music & Audio - E.g voice over
Description:
When a contest is created, total reward amount is locked into a smart contract. The maximum number of participants can be capped. The District0x token holders will be able to vote & explain the rationale behind their vote. Once the contest is done, the reward amount wouldn't go entirely to the winner(or winners) but will be spread over the winner(s) & participants who have received a minimum stake (which can be proportional to the total reward amount) in the voting. E.g In a contest with a total reward of 100 DNT in which 8 contestants meet the minimum criteria;
1) Winner - 50 DNT 2) Runner up - 15 DNT 3) Second Runner up - 10 DNT 4) Others - 5 DNT each
Other additions:
As an incentive, voters could also get a share of tokens for voting & lets say picking the winner. Obviously this could accompany the idea that every vote would consume an amount of DNT. There can be a rating/reputation system for the doers in their respective domain, based on their past performance.
