I think this is a great example of the 'community' aspect that District0x can provide. Keep working on this concept as the network grows!
please send me a direct message on district slack regarding your proposal. @angelo
I am @yalu in district0x slack.
thanks all for the votes and support. I am in the learning phase (Clojurescript/re-frame), and been watching the key repos for a while. I mean to try and develop the idea and build a district like this myself in the future as the d0xINFRA framework solidifies.
Hey @yalu
I'm not sure if you're aware but we recently launched a new bounty to migrate your proposals to the actual District Registry: https://registry.district0x.io/
We're replacing the old voting app with the registry. Let me know if you need help but I would love to see you migrate this over so you can claim your DNT.
It does take a 10,000 DNT submit to submit your proposal but this gives you an extra 2000 you can stake in the registry beyond the deposit amount.
Hit me up on Telegram or Discord if you need help or have questions.

PS, please excuse the canned response. I am encouraging everyone here to start migrating so they can claim their 12000 DNT.
Name: Ethpat - District for expats
Purpose: For expats to come together, share information, exchange values, gain companionship, support each other and lead meaningful lives in their host country.
Description: Expats have unique needs that creates the tendency to come together and support each other especially in countries that are vastly different from most "developed" countries. Various Expat communities have come to exist loosely and organically in online groups (like google/yahoo groups) today to fulfil their needs. I believe District0x district can serve them better. As far as I can see, the use-case for having a District0x district couldn't be more perfect for the invaluable properties it has in serving their needs. Rather than explain further how this could work I am going to link here an example of a thriving and vibrant community that I have witnessed.
KTMKTM is an expat community based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Note: It is not clear to me whether each expat community, in possibly each of the 195 some countries are a district of their own, or all come together under the Ethpat district. Could a district be a collective of similar districts? More exploration on this idea heartily welcome!
