Maps not showing in Android #283

Hello,

After recent testing, I am having trouble with the same code, to make it work in Android. Also with your base example from the docs.

After fixing everything for iOS8 (now it works without problem), I can not seem to be able to show a map in Android 4.2.2 or 4.4...

Someone is having the same problem?

And it looks like it did get fixed but it doesn't look like those changes made it into a release since 2.2 is older than the above thread. Same problem on Android 5.0.

I really hope this gets fixed soon. I have tried all combinations of fixes and spent 8 hrs attempting to solve this with no luck.

I've had trouble replicating this problem as my tests are working correctly.

I've just tested and confirmed this works for Android 4.2.2 and 4.4.2. I don't yet have a device running 5.0 to try though.

It works better, it does show the markers, but it does not the zoom automatically to street level in Android. Any fix for that? :D

still doesnt work for me. Still cant see maps, and only see zoom buttons and google logo. Im using android 4.2.2 with air version 16.

@markthomasbieber Is your map definitely invisible, or do you see gray coloured tiles instead of the map?

completly invisible. all i see is google logo and zoom buttons. I worried it might be an issue with my api / certificate, but i have tried every combination of api / cert values possible.

@markthomasbieber OK, its odd because I've specifically tested on 4.2.2 so I thought it should be working. Are you able to run adb logcat for me, and save the log output from your app when you create the map etc? That would be really helpful.
