Beacon Ane doesn't working with Gimbal Beacon Series 10 #307

I was used “Reco” Beacon.(product of Korea). It works very good.

But my client need to use Gimbal beacon, So I bought Gimbal beacon.

Today I receive Gimbal beacon and try beacon connection test, It doesn’t working

How Can I fix this problem? I need help..

Hi, Can you provide some information on what the Gimbal beacon is? Is it an iBeacon supported device?

Hi Michael

My test Beacon is https://store.gimbal.com/p-1-gimbal-proximity-beacon-series-10-firmware-v161.aspx Gimbal Proximity Beacon - Series 10 Firmware v1.8.0 and this beacon is support iBeacon

My test Phone is Nexus5 and iPhone6

Most likely this is a problem with the way you've configured the device. These types of beacons are able to do a lot more than just act as an iBeacon so you must make sure you've loaded and setup the correct firmware to make it act as an iBeacon.

I have ploblem with my test Phones, I started test by Nexus5(os : 5.0), it was working very nice, and I tried LG G2, and LG Optimus G by same source code. Publish and Installed in LG phones. and I started my beacon test app, Bluetooth shutdown alert popup again and again. G2 Os version is 4.4.2 and bluetooth version is 4.0. How can I fix it? can you help me? My test beacons is Estimote
