Games aren't the right resolution on a 4k display (Borderlands 2) #69

In 4 person grid layout, each game's resolution is lower than it should be on the 4k screen, leaving large gaps between the windows. On anything less than 4 person coop, the scaling is entirely wrong. Here are some screenshots of what it looks like (using borderlands 2):

Edit: I also tried aetha's fix from issue #48 but it didn't work for me.

Go into windows display settings and change display scaling from 300% to 100%. You're welcome :)

@TomSputz My tv is already set to 100%

Should I try 300%?

Trentflix commented 7 years ago

It's working for me, so it's not broken in all situations.

@Trentflix what are the resolutions of your screens? Any idea what variables could be different for you?

I ran into a similar issue, mainly because I am using Gamestream to a 4k display and my native monitor is 1920x1080. Gamestream is set to use 4k, so it automatically shows 4k resolution with a 200% scaling causing placement issues. Are there any plans to have the windows scale be used instead of expecting it to be the default 100%?
