Libertine font not rendering correctly in Chromium #30

Closed archseer closed 11 years ago

archseer commented 12 years ago

The font file that chromium uses may be broken, or it might be a chromium issue altogether (however other CSS3 fonts render correctly, so I think the font file may be corrupt).

Firefox and Chromium

side by side comparison of the latest developer builds of Firefox and Chromium on Linux.

I'm unable to replicate this, but more recently than when you filed this, I made an update to the font face markup. I Are you still experiencing this issue?

estebanav commented 12 years ago

Just to contribute :) I am not able to reproduce it too.

I am using Chromiun 14.0.835.202

archseer commented 12 years ago

I still produce the same issue on Chromium 23.0.1258.0 (155198) on Linux. I think this may be the issue of my fontconfig-infinality patch, or a chromium bug (or something inbetween). The bug only occurs in Chromium and if I am the only one that can reproduce it, I think we can safely close this.

@estebanav: That's a really old chromium version... outdated by almost a year :O

@archSeer, has the issue gone away?

jonathantneal commented 11 years ago

Closing this issue, as it should be corrected, and no one has been able to reproduce it.
