Missing highlight in GDocs for space errors inside multiword parentheses

Run the following text through the grammar checker using the Google Docs plugin:

In the resulting list of errors, the errors concerning an extra space inside parentheses does not get highlighted in the text, cf the screenshot:

This seems to happen only with parentheses. Highlighting seems to work properly in all other cases.

Also, this only affects the Google Docs version.
