Sms speller does not work in LibreOffice

I use Mac M2 Ventura. I have proofread sms text in both .txt and .docx format. I can define language for entire document as sms.

But: I am unable to use nuvviDspeller to access version, anymore. No word forms are underlined, even the XML tag names and the Cyrillic words.

This is a recent development, because I was able to document problems with full stops in issue #2

In the spelling mode a spelling is suggested that is the very same spelling according to Unicode

Yes, I have restarted my Mac M2. The tool works for Skolt Saami; it provides accurate suggestions when using the spelling tool. Hence, it may merely be the absence of the red underline in the text that is confusing for sms. I will check the other languages that I know.

For Skolt Sámi: could it be that you accidentally have turned off automatic spell checking? Cf the following screen shots, which seem to replicate the behaviour you describe:

There seems to be no effect from turning on the Automatic Spell Checking.

Which version of LO do you have?
