N64 - Virtual Pad analog stick doesn't center correctly when right clicked.

When I right click the analog stick the following happens:

Notice how the Y-coordinate still has a number. (the same happens to X but in 
this particular case it was 0 before)
At this point link doesn't move.

Once I press a button, like the print screen button it will look like this:

But Link still won't move. Only when I press another button, like the print 
screen button again, will Link start moving again.

Is this a graphical only issue or does the input stay that way?  I haven't had 
enough testing with Virtual Pad to know what's normal/abnormal.
