VBA has support for a GDB connection in some versions.  Can you do anything 
useful with that?  If it's just command line GDB, that might be pretty sad.

DesMume also has GDB support itself.

What I am asking for here is an unified implementation, allowing all cores to 
share one implementation, especially when they don't provide one themself.
