What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I have added vocpcm.c to kernel 2.6.35 Sensation source from HTCDev
2. The /dev/voc* devices are there as expected
3. Seems though they are not mapping correctly. Is there an issue with qdsp6
maybe as vocpcm.c was meant for qdsp5 ?
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
All looks good except access to audio
Device permissions are fine, app starts and gains root access. All works as
expected.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I am using stock HTC rom with my kernel with vocpcm.c added.
I have tried rVoix_11_24_2010.zip
also rvoix_mod_kaefert_v2.apk
and every other one I could find.
Please provide any additional information below.
I also tried ARHD with faux kernel but it keeps rebooting before I get a chance
to do anything. Only stable with the stock kernel with ARHD.
Is there a good kernel that is known to work with HTC Sensation ?
btw: It is NOT aSensation XL.
