device does not exist - yet skvalex CallRecorder can access the device (HTC Sensation) #3

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Virtuous Unity6/8 or Revolution HD Unity8
2. load and run rvoix and callrecorder (skvalex)
3. rvoix returns "device does not exist or its permissions cannot be changed."

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
audio file. error message from 3. above.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
tested both rvoix-01-15 and rvoix-12-31 on 2.3.4 virtuous unity6/unity8 or 
Revolution HD with Unity8

Please provide any additional information below.
unlike earlier there doesn't appear to be any /dev/voc* devices. Any ideas on 
what the new /dev/* is for Sensation? What am I missing? If you can tell me 
what to try I am willing.

Please use a snapdragon version
