Artifacts under iOS 4.2.1

Hi,

I'm experiencing a problem with the latest core plot version (revision
1261) under iOS 4.2.1:

My bar chart shows an artifact (additional dashed line) from the lower
left-hand corner to the upper center of the chart.

I use Xcode 4.2 with iOS 5.0 SDK and a iPod touch 2G with iOS 4.2.1.

Have tried it on several other iOS versions (iPod touch 4G with iOS
4.3.2, iPod touch 4G with iOS 5.0.1) where everything works fine (no
additional line).

One more information: The problem does only occur if i install the app
as a release version. When debugging on the device directly the issue
does not exist! The settings for the core plot projects have not been
changed.

Any hints appreciated!

Unfortunately the suggested solution did not work for me. I just upgraded to 
Xcode 4.2.1 but the problem still exists.
