What did you run into?

I went to the contribution section in the documentation and found the link to join the discord server:

This link is not working anymore

To which section of the docs does this belong?

We no longer have a discord server. We moved to only support through Github, and opened a Slack for our sponsors.

It makes no sense to only have discussion available to sponsors, and it actively hurts the ability of the community to help when we do not have access to that additional information... especially given the state of the current documentation.
