Exactly the same problem I get.
I assume that a Chrome upgrade caused it to stop working :'(

It stopped working after the latest chrome update.
I have tried restarting Chrome but it always happens.

I removed ProxySwitch and installed Proxy SwitchySharp

Proxy SwitchSharp works fine. It is based on ProxySwitch (derived from the same
source code?) and is very similar in look and feel.

Thanks Ed. That does really work well.
(note: the author of Proxy SwitchySharp indicated that Switchy will no longer
be maintained. So might be a good moment to switch to SwitchySharp ;))
