Non working mode 5 selection. PWM theshold bug ? #566

bug 552 is not a bug, but the result of this bug.

Please see screenshot - whatever is configured as mode 5 - does not work !
(4 and 5 was swapped until few minutes ago, that
's why AUTO "never" worked)

Also :when in flight mode 5 (stabilize)- I were unable to properly set AUTO or 
STABILIZE mode from Flight Planner ! (safety risk)

please observe that PWM is "only" 18ns away from the upper limit of what is FM5 
 - still, OSD, Planner and log show rock solid flightmode5 - while it does not 
work.

Is it possible that the displayed flight mode have other thresholds than the 
thresholds used in APM for actual ?

adjusting the PWM to 1704 - did not help. mode5 does not work then.

Very interesting observation: 
switching from mode6 -> mode5 does NOT work.
switching from mode4 -> mode5 works.
this is regardless of what is configures as mode 5 (except if mode5 = manual)

the strange thing here - is that it "works" as observed in OSD and/or Planner - 
(mode changes) - but if "AUTO" or "stabilize" is configured as mode 5 - it 
simply does not work "in air". - if I switch place between stabilize and auto 
(4/5 or 5/4) whatever in mode 5 will not work

So it's important to see if your servos do the stabilization - not only if the 
mode changes.

I know - this looks really strange, especially as I cannot find more than one 
place in source where PWM limits are checked. 

This reminds me of the

maybe it somehow sees something else than a steady PWM on the ch8 input.. 
I have only 1-4 and 8 connected but PWM output is configured on channel 1..3+8
