Incorrect port is being used

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Attempt to use a nonstandard port, eg 8080
given().port(8080).expect().statusCode(200).when().get("");
2. Tried both inline and with  RestAssured.port = 8080;       
3. For both types additional configuration is:

    RestAssured.baseURI = "http://localhost/";
        RestAssured.port = 8080;                
        RestAssured.basePath = "/api";

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected that it would try to call the host with 8080, instead it defaults to 
80.

I've now fixed this in master, to try it out depend on version 1.8.2-SNAPSHOT 
after having added the following Maven repo:

<repositories>
        <repository>
            <id>sonatype</id>
            <url>https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/snapshots/</url>
            <snapshots />
        </repository>
</repositories>
