Tweaks to improve docs functionality and a few typos #2

I've added a few helpers to the makefile, added the 'copy button' which allow easy copying of code, fixed some sphinx formatting issues, fixed some typos. Oh and added a few bits to the index so that it might be easier to find some of the "how-to" parts.

Basically just tried to improve the docs a bit.
