Better website + thai translation #57

What platform (if any) would you like to use for the Thai translation item? It's been years since I did a big comparison but Weblate and Transifex are the two names that spring to mind at 3AM. There were definitely at least a few other open-source friendly services around, e.g. Pontoon and Pootle back then that seem to have survived.

Anyway, choose your preference and I happen to have the resources to make the Thai translation happen...

Semi-related, how would you feel about a typo check? I know it's practically busy work, but it's easy enough that I don't mind, and I've noticed enough that there might be some that affect the translation work (if you approve of the proposal, I'd be verifying a native Thai's corrections of the machine translation's first pass on translation, and typos will throw the MT off).

anything to fix teh wording on the page is good. Most of it is done in a rush and there are parts out of date. I'm not sure translation at all about translation. in some ways the words need to be reduced so translation isn't needed? Also there are several sites using teh same data now that are in thai so maybe its just not worth the effort? Another thing I need to add is moving some of the caveats etc into footnotes in the plots themselves.

Well if there are now Thai sites using the data then takes the priority off of doing so here, IMHO. Your call whether to remove from this task list or not. Caveats into footnotes sounds like it needs more judgement calls than I'm qualified for here, so I'll also leave that item to you... :)
