apt sources to not work for debian #149

The method you provide for installing apt sources does not actually work on a
debian system + you do not seem to provide a sources.list line for debian
systems.

Please just remove the line on your downloads page that says this is for
"Ubuntu/Debian" --> in fact, the instructions you give only work on Ubuntu
systems.

I noticed this issue is already being more thoroughly addressed in ID #83.

However, if you could update the website to refer people there, that would be
helpful.

Hi johnfranck,

thanks — sorry for the false advertising. I changed the front page and
Installing MDAnalysis. My understanding is that you can still manually 'dpkg'
install our .deb but this is far cry from the advertised "apt-get install".

If you (or anyone else) would be interested in contributing knowledge and time
to package for Debian then that would be great (see also Issue 83).

Thanks for the response!

Personally, I just ran easy_install, which worked for me.

I would have gone for installing the deb with dpkg, I just was not sure
where to get it, and, if so, which version would work with the current
debian stable version (wheezy).
I think that I pulled one of from an apt sources line that I found, but the
dependencies were not satisfied by my debian distribution (I think the
version numbers seemed to be included in the package names of the
dependencies, which is not standard for debian).
Again, none of this affects my work b/c easy_install worked, but I am happy
to test an install if you point me to a particular .deb file.

Best + thanks again!
John
