A few projects on github use multiple channels. For example, one uses #foobar for general support/discussion and #foobar-dev for discussing logic/code within the project.
The idea behind this issue is to allow people in both #foobar and #foobar-dev to see issues/pull requests/stuff in both channels or whichever they choose.
