ctrl+up/down switches channels AND messages #206

The default keys of switching channels (ctrl+up or ctrl+down) will switch channels, but it also fills in your chatbox/buffer with previously typed messages. It's pretty annoying to quickly switch channels then also have to delete the chat buffer.

This is using the latest source from github. There is nothing in the application log.
