Needs somekind of backend application for always-on connections #224

I'm currently running an Irssi in a screen on my server and I love that I never miss anything because it's always logged in.

I'd love it if Komanda could do something similar. Maybe offer the option to connect to somekind of IRC proxy, which keeps the IRC session alive and pipes everythink to komanda?

That's more like a question of what application you run on the backend, not for komanda itself. You may want to look at ZNC for example.

Thanks for the ZNC hint, I actually hadn't heard of IRC bouncers :P
