[mu4e bug] #2694

Describe the bug I get an error when I call mu4e-compose-new and

message-position-on-field: Search failed: "^--text follows this line--

and the message itself does not have the required fields that should be added through message-mode. I use the latest version of mu4e.

How to Reproduce Compose a new message. The new message is blank and does not have the To: From: Subject: fields

Environment Mac OS X, using latest compiled version mu4e 1.11.3

Need some more details:

did you mean 1.12.3? If you really have 1.11.3, best upgrade first (to 1.12.4)
what emacs version are you using?
can you reproduce with emacs -Q and just mu4e?

Hi! Apologies, I fixed the post. I meant 1.12.3. I just upgraded from 1.12.3 to 1.12.4 per your suggestion and it solved the issue. Thanks for all the amazing work!
