Enhancement request: EPS graph #155

Hi Martin, and thanks for all your hard work.
I have been searching for a way to check eps, I read a few posts on the google
group and a few said this was comming soon but is there any way to do this now?

a graph showing events per second to look for spikes on the main page similar
to other log managing solutions would be great or even a way to do it with
dashboards.

thanks

The main stats dashboard has something like events per hour. You can get it
down to events per minute with a query like this (which you can stick in a
dashboard):

datasource:_node_stats groupby:minute

Thanks martin.

You know its kind of funny but I have been using elsa for about a year now and
I had no idea the _system dashboard existed. Perhaps add it to the regular
dashboards list, maybe split them into system/default and user-added.

Anyway, thanks again.

Well, the _node_stats datasource is what is used to populate the stats page,
but there is more functionality there than is immediately shown. I'll leave
this ticket open as a marker for adding a better stats page and documentation.
