Better display-less operation #21

I've been using this monitor-less many times, it's very possible, with a few tweaks it would be just a perfect.

once we've got the config in place, we should be able to add the mod quick launch without too much trouble.

I think it could be a switch in the config, where it will boot up quickly (no splash?) and load the first track in the folder, then we gotta sort a way to load subsequent new tracks. It would not go into a "load" screen (which is the main problem right now, figuring out if I am in the load screen or not).

Need some thought into this.

Screen data does not necessarily need to be off, in case someone wants to diagnose a problem with a monitor and ascertain the program is running fine.

59 should shave off some of what was proposed here re: splash screen.
