CD32 CD-ROM reading not working properly #51

Very small dirs work OK but longer ones get stuck in "reading directory". Sometimes after a while waiting like that, screen gets corrupted, some "software failure" requester can be made out, and then Amiga reboots with guru.

Test iso provided in another issue.

It is the shitty OS.

d0pefishToday at 9:41 AM Good news, it's not a PT1210 bug: That path causes the CD driver to crash at OS level I reckon there's some limitation with the path we're hitting. Or a bug in the mastering software Still playing... Fastest way to make it crash: Boot Workbench on the CD32 Open the CD Open one of the "long" folders Guru Here's why:

Amiga supports ISO9660 Level 2

Level 1: File names are limited to eight characters with a three-character extension. Directory names are limited to eight characters. Files may contain one single file section. Level 2: Files may contain one single file section.
