Hi David, When I try to run a FASTQ file from mRNA seq, I get this error. I am using Mac. Also my major goal is to run it for fly mRNA seq, so please advice on how to change the reference genome.

ERROR: Could not find Reference Genome in ~/rnaEditor_annotations/human/GRCH38/Homo_sapiens.GRCh38.dna.primary_assembly.fa:

Cannot start Analysis!

Dear Baski,

this means that it could not find the file in the given directory.

If you want to apply the RNAEditor to fly you can build your own reference genome for fly by following the instructions from http://rnaeditor.uni-frankfurt.de/download.php. You have to exchange the source files from human with the ones from fly.
