We were testing a local build of our app with DJI SDK iOS 4.9 when it suddenly became unavailable, as new version 4.9.1 was released with a very minor change.

While we understand you wish to keep developers up to date, we would also like to reference previous SDKs and rebuild previous versions of our apps to identify problems reported by users or compare functionality.

When the DJI SDK is made unavailable through cocoapods, we can no longer build older debug versions of the app for internal testing. Please make older versions of the SDK available.

  2. Report your issues to dev@dji.com, as it's our official channel for developers to request DJI Developer Support now.

There was an issue with the 4.9 release. The 4.9 release was released on Jan 27th, and the fix, 4.9.1 was released on Jan 28th. I do agree that removing historical code is problematic, but in this case, the erroneous code was only available for a short period of time before the fix was available, and the number of people who upgraded to 4.9 before 4.9.1 was available was probably small. All other historical versions of the DJI SDK are still available for download, so all other Pod versions should work.
