DJISDK 4.12 SDK Bridge App crash #364

Hello,

There appears to be an issue with the new DJISDK 4.12 using the SDK Bridge app. There is a crash in a background thread (as seen in the stack trace below).

I was able to connect to a P4PV2 using DJISDK 4.12 without the SDK Bridge app

I re-installed DJISDK 4.11 and SDK Bridge allowed connection to drone.

Environment: Xcode 11.5 SDK Bridge app says it is up to date via App Store (unable to find version number). iPad running SDK Bridge app: iOS 13.5

Phantom 4 Pro V2: 01.00.2200 Precise Fly Safe Database (for AC): 01.00.01.18 Fly Safe (for App): 01.00.01.18 Basic Fly Safe Database: 01.00.01.09

Hello,

I have built the DJISDKDemo App and tried to connect via enableBridgeModeWithBridgeAppIP: and got the same type of error response after a successful connection (as seen in the attached screen shots).

I built the DJISDKDemoApp on an iPad and was able to connect and use the demo app just fine.

There is only a crash while using the BridgeApp.

Please let me know if there is any more information that is required.

Thank you for contacting DJI. Phantom 4 Pro V2: 01.00.2200 It seems that the firmware of the drone is so old, can you please help us upgrade to the latest firmware 01.00.50.00 and test it again?

Hello,

P4PV2 and RC are now running Firmware 01.00.5000.

The same errors are present when connecting via the SDK Bridge app in the DJI Demo App.

Before it I want to more detail below: -With the Bridge Aoo, does the demo app crash directly when running start? Or seconds later, any action you did? -Can you please show me a video(Youtube or other drives) of the whole progress from running the app to the crash end?

Hello,

The DJIDemo App crashes when the P4PV2 connects via the Bridge app.

If there is no connection, the DJIDemo App runs fine.

Any updates on resolving this issue?

I am getting the same crash, on both Objective C and Swift Demo project, when the following drones connect:

  1. P4P RTK
  2. P4P Multispectral
  3. P4P V2

Environment: Xcode 11.5 Mac OS 10.15.5 iPad 13.5
