Gimbal yaw direction when using DJISimulator #389

When I start a waypoint mission by DJISimulator, gimbal yaw direction will be changed to 90. It doesn't happen in real flight. Can you explain and fix issue in this case? Thank you so much! Image from iOS

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting DJI. Sorry, that's not a problem. In the simulator, the drone's heading is north and the camera will follow the drone's heading. But the simulator can't simulate the compass signal, causing this. It's will be normal in a real flight, if you are confused about this, you can move the drone to the true north in real when using the simulator.

@dji-dev I am sorry, Can you tell me a detail about below problem? Before I use DJISimulator, I did not meet this issue while using PC Simulator (DJI Assistant). After I apply DJISimulator, it occured both DJI Assistant and DJISimulator function. Can you explain reason for me? Thank you so much!

Thank you for contacting DJI. Can you please try to reboot the drone and test it again? This issue should occur when using the simulator of the DJI Assistant 2. And you can ignore it because will be ok when have a real flight.
