create a notebook to calculate metrics of interest, which will write to a shared netcdf

possible metrics of interest:

• peak LAI averaged globally and by biome
• trend from ~1970-2014
• global sum of gridcell error (relative error)
• Slope of relationship between LAI and temperature/precip by gridcell or biome (Tmax? Seasonal precip?)
• LAI amplitude
• Seasonality (onset, senescence)
