Star Fox Adventures subtitles are out of place #71

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start the game from the beginning/load prev. save
2. Activate a cut scene(ex. talk to shop guy) and the subtitles are not
displayed
3. Activate another cut scene or talk to dinosaurs and the subtitles are loaded
from the previous cutscene

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Subtitles should be displayed correctly. Instead what happens is the subtitles
will display after another conversation or cut scene is activated and will
overlap current subtitles if they're present. So for ex. if you talk to a non
speaking dinosaur after a cutscene it will display the previous subtitle and
overlap the text. It will even continue to display outside of the conversation
while in game.

What revision of Nintendont are you using? On what system Wii/Wii U?
r148, USA Wii-U 5.0.0

Please provide any additional information below.
This seems to only activate with cutscenes. If you talk to any dinosaur without
audio the text will display fine but as I said it will load the prev. subtitles
too. I'd assume it's related to audio streaming breaking the subtitles but I
dunno.
