Glass_Panel_Window Blender Objects are not being displayed the same as the Gameplay #72

Charlie, as of the Frontier update, the Large "Glass Panel Window" objects are now being displayed bowing inwards within the Gameplay, where as the Blender objects are displayed bowing outwards, needs to be corrected to reflect the same.

Charlie, I made two screen shots one in blender and the other in gameplay. In blender the widows are placed correctly (look correctly) but in game play their orientation is reversed

I had to zip the png file and rename the extension to zipx

I noticed that the moon pools still have the four-steel posts extruding in the air extend from the opening, is there a fix that your aware of?

Interesting @Mike-Blackwell , how do they act when you have them snapped onto a mainroom? I am wondering if they appear flipped when they are just free floating. In my tests, when I have them attached onto a room then it appears fine. If you find the same then unfortunately I can't do much about it.

Charlie, whilst in game play I deleted a single glass window panel in the crystal sphere (left side) and same with the building and added a new glass panels which seem to display correctly for the crystal sphere and building, but when I look in blender the crystal sphere panel has flipped (inverted) whilst the building ones appear to be outwards. Looking at the blender building I noticed that I do not see the corner window panels which is a different issue..

I guess my question is why would the free placed panels be any different than building panels, one would expect them to be displayed the same way either as the game play or within blender. It appears that blender seems to be displaying them incorrectly at least for free standing glass panels, am I missing something? Mike

The problem is that No Mans Sky internally flips the model around when it is attached to the main room, this is the orientation of which I have the model represented in Blender. A limitation of Blender is that I can't reproduce the exact logic that NMS is doing when it gets in close proximity of a relevant snap point.

I did my own little test here. These are just two panel windows, one is snapped and one is floating. You can think of it like the new contextual building where NMS will automatically swap out the model based on its position. This is what is happening here and I can't accommodate for both scenarios in Blender. The same goes for the new model for the shopping terminal.

Not much I can do here I'm afraid :/

Thanxs Charlie, maybe there's something within Peter's utility that I might be able to use to reverse the orientation of "floating" glass panels so that its oriented correctly within gameplay.

Whilst using blender I noticed another issue in regard to Tools > Visibility when one toggles from Normal to Ghosted to Invisible none of the new Frontier parts change their transparency only the legacy parts am I missing something?

True, I haven't updated the ghosted item list data. I may need to add the new parts.
