Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError #71

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/sonicether/soundphysics/SoundPhysics Exit code: 255

What does this mean? How can I fix it? Is it on my end or a bug in the source code?

If this is a discrepancy between versions, how can I remedy this without regressing to 1.12 or lower?

im pretty sure there are 1.16 versions out there

Okay I didn't see that before, lemme try replacing the .jar files with a later version

Never mind, the version is 1.16 (1.16.3) and I got the same error

The crash report is the same. Apparently I downloaded the 1.16.3 version and not the 1.12 version. I misremembered lol

Wow, 1.16 crash reports are pretty different from 1.12 crash reports, so my estimation may be a little off... But it seems like the SoundPhysics coremod is present, but the actual mod itself isn't? Did you put it in the right folder?

Pretty sure I did. The file pathway is as follows: Users > minecraft (the username to my mac account) > Library > Application Support > minecraft > mods > Sound Physics

As for coremods vs actual mods, I am unfamiliar with that terminology. I downloaded the mod on this link: https://github.com/djpadbit/Sound-Physics/releases/download/1.0.10-1/Sound-Physics-1.16.3-1.0.10-1.jar

This was under the Releases tab for this mod, 1.0.10 Patch 1 under Assets (3rd one down) I really don't know what info I can provide... hope this helps

hmm yeah I'm gonna wait for @djpadbit to see this since I can't really narrow it down any further with my knowledge, sorry
