midi mapper operation #1

Hi, I have a digitech whammy dt and would like to contruct this project. I'm curious about the two buttons as to what there functions or purpose are? Also how many program changes can the midi mapper deliver at once? Thanks

Hi Turboblue,

sry for the late reply, totally missed this.

Take a look at the arduino pinout (i think i used the nano, not sure, there are libs for eagle). The device only has a single serial port for midi and the serial over usb to sync to the device. When compiling and pushing you have to disconnect midi from the device or the push will fail (therefore the physical switch cannot be momentary). The other switch (momentary) is simply hooked up to the hard reset of the arduinio.

The schematic is correct, but the layout may have one or two errors, I etched a prototype but cannot remember if I had to make a fix by hand. So don’t blindly send the layout to the etcher.

good luck, let me know if you have further questions.
