use of first person #144

I see that both of your inspiration pages use it, but I don't like it. A web page is not a conversation. If you're trying to shift more towards business then it should be more professional, like a resume, which is third person.

idk maybe its my penchant for writing up bugs and tests, which are always done in third person with passive voice. so now I want to hear it all the time...

That is a decent point to raise. Thank you. I'll give it some thought and explore it with some other professional content writers and see if there is some standard like that which I should lean towards. Being a blog, on work, run as a hobby I admit that I land in a weird place for whether this is a 'personal' setting or a 'professional' one.
