Hi it not a issue but more a request. If you Could modify the hex or 2nd version for Sinclair joystick layout as I noticed it would fit nicely in the joystick slots on the +3 but I know they are wired differently so just wanted to know if this was possible.

Thanks

Ps Love this device made one my self. Mainly because of your great work on this project.

It doesn’t look like it has +5v which the nunchuk needs for power. Ground is also on a different pin so you can’t just move pins around in software.

The only options are a completely new design or a small adapter board between the computer and nunchuk and an external power supply

Good point I'll stick with kempston that works fine

djtulan commented 5 years ago

@gooner2077 What joystick adapter do you use for your Sinclair? Don't know what the +3 exactly is?

gooner2077 commented 5 years ago

On the zx spectrum +3 128k has 2 Sinclair ports on the side already built-in. Which are wired differently from standard c64 and Atari.

@gooner2077 The +5V are not available on the Sinclair Joystick ports it seems. This adapter cable would also not work: https://coolnovelties.co.uk/coolnovelties/sinclair-zx-spectrum/90-sinclair-spectrum-128-joystick-adapter-2-port-version-0705693505084.html
