Original WII Nunchuck not working #16

Hi, I just built the nunchuk64, and it is working great with a SNES Mini controller. However, I cannot get it working with an original WII Nunchuck that I have. I just checked, it is working in the WII. What can I check?

Unfortunately, there are two different Nunchuk controllers for the WII. The original model and a newer model. The newer model unfortunately does not work on the Nunchuk64 because the microcontroller is too slow for it. It needs faster i2c polling. But most of the replicas work.
