The incorrectly displayed characters are the letter ä.

This may be a module encoding issue.

Chris wrote in http://www.crosswire.org/tracker/browse/MOD-229

Only FinPR92 had an issue.

You can check the correct encoding of .confs by reading them. If and only if
there is a line that reads "Encoding=UTF-8", they should be encoded as UTF-8.
Otherwise, they should be encoded as CP1252.

I don't care what "most front-ends nowadays" expect. I'm not going to break
behavior of front-ends that follow our guidelines for the sake of those that
don't.

====

Therefore there IS still an issue in the And Bible front-end.

FinPR92 has been updated by Chris.

FinPR did not require updating. Front-ends still have the issue.
This module does NOT have "Encoding=UTF-8" in the .conf file.
It should therefore be treated in accordance with CrossWire documentation.

To fix a different issue, I have today rebuilt modules FinPR and FinBiblia.
I took the opportunity to change the encoding to UTF-8.
I also updated FinPR92 earlier this month.

All 3 Finnish modules have been submitted to CrossWire.

This means that when CrossWire releases the updated modules, this display issue
will be solved for FinPR and FinBiblia.

It also means that there will not be errors reported when the search indices
are made for And Bible downloads.
